HOSA-Future Health Professionals is an international student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education Division of ACTE (Association for Career and Technical Education). Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School is an active member of the HOSA organization. Each year, MMACHS sends qualified students to participate in the HOSA International Leadership Conference, which was held in Nashville, TN in 2016 and will be held in Orlando, FL during June 21-24, 2017. HOSA Member Requirements:
The HOSA Agreements, Code of Conduct, and Medical Liability Release forms found here, in the MMACHS HOSA Handbook, must be signed by parent/student and returned to Ms. Currie by Dec. 16th, 2016: mmachs-hosa-handbook2016
MMACHS HOSA members are required to earn 350 points (through HOSA participation) and have 20 signed study hours, in addition to no more than 1 WIP grade, to be eligible for State Leadership Conference (SLC) Participation.
