HOSA-Future Health Professionals is an international student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education Division of ACTE (Association for Career and Technical Education). HOSA’s two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.  Click here to visit the official HOSA website.

Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School is an active member of the HOSA organization. Each year, MMACHS sends qualified students to participate in the HOSA International Leadership Conference, which was held in Nashville, TN in 2016 and will be held in Orlando, FL in June 2017.

HOSA Members:

The HOSA Agreements, Code of Conduct, and Medical Liability Release forms found here, in the MMACHS HOSA Handbook, must be signed by parent/student and returned to Ms. Currie by Jan. 20th, 2017: mmachs-hosa-handbook2016

MMACHS HOSA members are required to earn 350 points (through HOSA participation) and have 20 signed study hours, in addition to no more than 1 WIP, to be eligible for State Leadership Conference Participation.  requirements-for-hosa-2016
