Blake Gaudet – Social Studies

Blake Gaudet 2020-2021

Hello!  The 2020-2021 school year will be my seventh year at MMACHS, and I could not be happier to be a part of this incredible community.  This year will also be my second as an advisor for our HOSA program.  If you have any questions about a class your student is enrolled in or our HOSA organization, please feel free to contact me at gaudet.blake@westada.org.

The social studies curriculum at MMACHS is designed to prepare our students to become active and engaged citizens upon graduation.  Our students will consistently be asked to evaluate current events through a lens that helps them understand their role in an evolving global community.  As a social studies teacher at this school, I have the unique opportunity to help guide the future leaders of our community as they begin to develop their identity as a citizen, and start wrestling with major issues that they will face as they enter their professional careers.

Below you will find the syllabus for each of the classes that I teach.

Classes:
Freshman Cornerstone /Global Perspectives – 9th
Honors American Gov Syllabus – 11th
Concurrent Credit Economics 12th – Fall
Medical Law and Ethics – 12th (Spring)
