Capstone Classes
During their senior year, MMACHS students choose two capstone classes to complete. These classes provide our seniors with the opportunity to gain real world experience, certification in a desired field, and valuable relationships with local healthcare professionals. Each of these capstones is worth three credits.

Emergency Medical Technician
EMT equips students with the knowledge and skills to address traumatic and medical emergencies. Completion of this course prepares students to sit for the NREMT written and practical exams for national certification

Certified Nursing Assistant
CNA students will use clinical experience to learn the practical skills associated with nursing assisting, with a focus on elderly adult care. Completion of the course set students up for success on the Idaho Skills exam and placement on the National Nurse Aid Registry.

Medical Internship
Working with our community partners, medical internship provides students with a work-based learning experience in a professional healthcare setting.
