HOSA

Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School (MMACHS) is an active member of HOSA-Future Health Professionals, an international student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education Division of ACTE (Association for Career and Technical Education).  Each year, MMACHS sends qualifying students to participate in the HOSA State and International Leadership Conferences.  Help our students by clicking here to donate!

Upcoming Fundraisers:

The Spudraiser is on!  To adhere to social distancing procedures, no pre-orders will be taken.  Simply drive by MMACHS on Saturday, Oct. 3rd between 10am-4pm and pick up your 50lb. bag of potatoes, for $20 each, while they last.  See flyer for more details.

Haunted House and Winter Bazaar events are cancelled this year; we apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing you again in 2021!

HOSA members are always welcome to send donation forms with a personal note requesting financial assistance from those in their networking circle (family, friends, health providers, community members, etc…).

Parent Booster participation: We are always looking for help!  Email mmachshosaboard@gmail.com with questions.  Meetings are usually held at 7 pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

2021 Regional Conference (RC): Timberline High School, TBDParent Info Meeting, TBD.

2021 State Leadership Conference (SLC):Riverside Hotel, Boise, April 14-16th.  Parent Info Meeting, Feb TBD.

2021 International Leadership Conference (ILC): Orlando, FL, June 23-27thParent Info Meeting, April TBD.

HOSA Membership Requirements:

The HOSA Registration form, Code of Conduct, and Medical Liability Release forms found in the MMACHS HOSA Handbook, must be signed by parent/student and returned to Mr. Gaudet no later than Nov. 19th, 2020, along with dues payment.   

Click on Event List 2021-TBA and circle your two event choices on this form (one from each column).  Turn in to Mr. Gaudet by December 17, 2020.

MMACHS HOSA members are required to earn:

  • 350 points (through HOSA participation) and have
  • 20 signed study hours, in addition to
  • no more than 1 WIP grade, to be eligible for State Leadership Conference (SLC) Participation.
